Living Murals was founded in Virginia with one mission: to bring walls to life through high-quality painting and artistic expression. With a background in residential and commercial painting, we offer both practical and creative solutions — from exterior painting to custom murals that reflect your space and story.
We believe in craftsmanship, clarity, and customer service — and we show up for our clients in person.
We are not affiliated with the similarly named LivingMurals.ca based in Ottawa, Canada. Despite the name similarity, our businesses are entirely separate. Unfortunately, automated tools sometimes mix our identities online. We’ve taken steps to correct this, but if you’re ever unsure, don’t hesitate to reach out directly.
This Hand Painted Custom Crackle Faux Finish included several faux painting techniques as well as the "crackle" product. A series of samples were created before the painting began. Five layers of paint were applied and the process involved one week application time. The project was unique in that I never physically saw the couple who hired me. The initial painting request came with information about what door to use and where the key was placed. All correspondence from that point was by daily notes. There is something to be said about feeling and trust when working on a painting project that decorates a space that anyone can enjoy as their own when they step into it.
